More Than I Bargained For

An expository look of the end of John chapter 6. We have followed the dialogue of Jesus and the crowd of the 5,000 that witnessed the miracle multiplication of the fishes and the loaves. What we will see is the unfortunate reality that far too many people turn away from Jesus when he no longer meets our expectations. In this passage, we'll see many disciples return to their old ways of living. Yet, John writes these things not to be discouraged! As Jesus says, even one of the chosen 12 will betray him; in this way, we know that genuine conversion is a gift from the Father.
